Working with us
Cybermedia Concepts (aka cybmed) is a small and passionate web design studio based in Geneva, Switzerland. Founded by David Roessli in 1996, we've been building web sites as early as 1993. First as academic projects at the University of Geneva, then as freelancer when the web opened up to the rest of the world.
We love what we do (really), and we strive to think out of the box and make web sites that work. For us, webdesign is about understanding what you do, identifying your needs and finding a way to make both meet through an elegant solution on the web.
We believe in building a one to one relationship with our clients based on mutual respect and trust. We are honored that many of our clients come back for redesigns or enhancements. Working with people you like makes the process all the more enjoyable.
Our designs promote web standards, accessibility and are responsive to adapt to the device they are viewed on. We adopt an agile and opened minded approach by working close to you, sometimes on your own premises.
Web design excellence takes time, commitment and focus (and money). We put all our experience and our knowledge towards building the best possible solution to answer your design chanllenge.
We read and we write, we share and we attend events. We are lucky to have been part of this industry since its birth, and we're committed to being part of its future by spreading the word. We give talks, workshops and training.
Sustainable design. We design and develop cutting edge web sites that meet our client's needs today and evolve to address tomorrow's challenges. We're solving problems here, not selling ready made black boxes.
We love our environment and respect it. At the time of writing, we work with environmentally responsible business partners. We cycle to work as much as possible, try to run a paperless business, print only when required and use green electricity.
We are proud to have worked for great companies and exceptional individuals over the years such as Bank for International Settlements (BIS) , International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Musée de l'Homme de Paris, Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics (SIB-ISB) or World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).Would you like to see more?

Need to test your designs?
Open Device Lab odl.cybmed.com
Over the years, I have collected a number of mobile devices to test my website designs on. Nothing can really emulate the feel of an actual device. So early 2013, I opened the first ODL in the Geneva area.
You are more than welcome to stop by if you want to test your designs on our devices, or add a device of your own to our set. Just give me a shout to make sure I'm in…
